President becomes acquainted with a modern housing complex in Yashnabad

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with houses under construction in Tashkent’s Yashnabad district.

22 nine- and sixteen-storey buildings are being built in “Assalom, Sokhil” complex with an area of 23 hectares. The complex will have 3236 apartments.

Structures that are resistant to earthquakes with a magnitude of more than 9 are used during construction. The walls have three layers, which guarantees the optimum temperature in winter and summer. Each apartment is supplied with a separate heating boiler.

Residential areas are being commissioned with finished repairs. Buyers, based on their needs and capabilities, can choose an apartment of “comfort”, “business” or “economy” class.

A kindergarten and school, sports and playgrounds, shops, cafes and a shopping center will be built on the territory of the complex.

The Head of the state visited the showroom of the complex, gave recommendations on high-quality maintenance of houses, expansion of conditions for recreation of the population and raising children.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev also examined cottages built on the basis of foreign experience using lightweight structures. These houses are distinguished by the fact that they are inexpensive, can be built in ten days and in various modifications to order. Such cottages will be in demand especially in mountainous and steppe areas.
